Janet Street, M. Ed., is a Fellow with the Orton Gillingham Academy and has worked with dyslexic learners for many years. 

Janet worked at The Schenck School for 22 years where she held many positions, including Lead Teacher, Director of Student Services, and Director of Outplacement. 

Through ReadSource, Janet has taught hundreds of parents, tutors, and teachers how to use the Orton-Gillingham approach to help students learn to read and spell. 

Over the past decade, Janet has presented on various literacy topics at these conferences: Orton-Gillingham Academy, International Dyslexia Association (National, Southeast Region and Georgia conferences) and the Southern Association for Independent Schools.

Janet Currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Chapter of the International Dyslexia Association.

Janet is the proud daughter, sister, and mother of talented and successful family members with dyslexia.
